Biography

Mani★Rava was formed in 2001 as Maniac Lovers at Aomori Technical High School in Aomori, and changed its name and debuted in 2003. The genre of their music is youth punk. Their representative albums include "Blue Souhide" (2004) and "May" (2006). Famous singles include "Happiness" (2004), an ED for a TV Asahi animation, and "Aomori Eki" (2005). In addition to winning local awards and ranking 10-20 on the Oricon Indies chart, the group received high acclaim at local festivals and media appearances during their active period. The band disbanded on October 1, 2007, and at one point released a best-of 2007 album. After reuniting, the group returned for local events starting in 2019 and produced re-recorded versions of their signature songs. The final members were NAKANO (Vo.) and Haruyopi (Gt.).
