Kaka de Luxe was a Spanish punk group formed in Madrid in November 1977. In 1978, they released their self-titled EP, which included four tracks and marked one of the earliest recorded outputs of Spanish punk through the Chapa Discos label. The group disbanded later in 1978 after a very short but influential existence. Despite their brief career, Kaka de Luxe became a foundational act of the Movida Madrileña, and its members later played key roles in influential projects such as Alaska y los Pegamoides, Alaska y Dinarama, Parálisis Permanente, and other important bands of the Spanish new wave and punk scenes.
