Yuji Oda, born December 13, 1967, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a multifaceted talent known for his work as an actor and singer. Starting his journey in high school, Yuji Oda was part of a band and initially pursued sports before injury shifted his focus. His career in entertainment took off with his acting debut in the 1987 film Shonan Bakusozoku and he rapidly rose to fame with the 1991 hit drama Tokyo Love Story. Yuji Oda continued to achieve success both on screen and in the music industry, with his 1991 single for a Suzuki commercial reaching number two on the charts. His role in the 1997 drama series Odoru Daisosasen (Bayside Shakedown), which transitioned into a highly successful movie series, remains one of his signature roles, garnering record-breaking box office success in Japan. Despite reducing his musical activities post-2008, Yuji Oda remains a significant figure in Japanese pop culture. His notable releases are "Utaenakatta Love Song"(1991), "Ima konosyunkan kara"(1991) and "Love Somebody"(1997).
