Biography

Josh Kaufman is an Indianapolis-based singer and songwriter best known for winning TV show 'The Voice' in 2014. His soulful vocals wowed the judges on songs such as Bonnie Raitt's 'I Can't Make You Love Me' and John Legend's 'All of Me'. At the age of 38 he was the oldest winner in the show's history. Kaufman grew up first in Florida and then Virginia, performing in choirs throughout his childhood. After graduating in philosophy, Kaufman performed with the soul band New Etiquette from 2010, releasing the 'New Etiquette' album in 2012. Married with three children, his big break finally came with winning 'The Voice'. He released the EP 'Josh Kaufman' in 2016 and then in 2019 the album 'Ndoxo Vol 1', featuring songs mainly written by Kaufman and Bleu McAuley. His single version of Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' topped the charts.
