Johnny Hollow, a Canadian music group formed in 2001 in Guelph, Ontario, consisted of singer Janine White, digital artist Vincent Marcone, cellist Kitty Thompson, and guitarist Steve Hiehn. The collaboration between founding members Janine White and Vincent Marcone began when Marcone, under the alias "My Pet Skeleton," launched his website and invited White to design sound effects. Their first material was presented on My Pet Skeleton's site, leading to the formation of Johnny Hollow. In 2003, they released their debut self-produced full-length album, which included the single "Bag of Snow" featured on D-Side's sampler disc alongside notable artists like Martin Gore and Lisa Gerrard. The band went on to release two more albums, Dirty Hands (2008) and A Collection of Creatures (2014). Their music has been featured in various media, including the film soundtrack for The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow.
