Biography

Born in New York on December 30, 2000, Jane Paknia is a musician who blends alternative electronic dance pop and jazz. She learned to play the piano at the age of five, then turned to the trumpet, playing in the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra. A graduate of Columbia University, in 2024 she unveiled her first EP, Orchid Underneath, released on the Eat Your Own Ears Recordings label, remixed by John Wizards and Hagop Tchaparian. In 2025, she dedicated the track "Solace" to two of her main inspirations, singer Sophie and Alice Coltrane. The track is followed by the singles "Waiting Pt 1" and "The Dream Is This", featured on the seven-track EP Million of Years of Longing.
