Biography

Jacqui Naylor, born in Saratoga, California, USA, in the 1960s, is an American singer-songwriter. After earning a marketing degree from San Francisco State University in 1991, she transitioned to music full-time in the late 1990s. Her debut album, Jacqui Naylor, was released in 1999 under her label Ruby Star Records. Notable subsequent works include Live East/West (2005) and The Color Five (2006), showcasing her signature "acoustic smashes" technique. Naylor has toured extensively across North America, Europe, and Japan, performing in venues like Ronnie Scott’s in London and the Blue Note in New York City. Her 2012 documentary Lucky Girl - A Portrait of Jacqui Naylor offered an intimate look into her life and career.
