Hayehudim, an Israeli hard rock band formed in 1992 by Tom Petrover and Orit Shahaf, gained significant success despite initial commercial disregard. Their debut album, ×צ×××ת × ×¤×¨×ת, was released in 1995 through Hed Arzi Music. The album initially sold poorly but gained traction after seven of its songs were featured in Michael Behagen's film Forever Young, leading to a surge in sales and achieving double platinum status by 1998. Their second album, the self-titled, was released in 1998 and also attained gold status. The band opened for Metallica and Rage Against the Machine during their Israeli concerts in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Subsequent albums include פ×× ×××ת (2002) and פ×ר×× (2007). Their fourth studio album, פ×ר××, won Album of the Year at the Israeli Music Channel awards. The band's album ××תר ×× = No More was released in 2015.
