Hans Nieswandt, born in 1964 in Mannheim, Germany, is a DJ and electronic music producer. He began his career as a DJ in his youth, earning his first payment for playing records in 1983. By the early 1990s, he was regularly performing at clubs and parties on weekends, leading to the creation of his successful project Whirlpool Productions. Nieswandt released several albums, including Lazer Muzik (1999), The True Sound Center (2004), and Hans Is Playing House (2012). He also remixed tracks for various artists, such as Hildegard Knef's "Bei Dir War Es Immer So Schön" (2002) and Jens Friebe's "Körper" (2005). In addition to his music career, Nieswandt worked as a radio host at WDR's EinsLive.
