Biography

Grammatik, a Polish hip-hop group from Warsaw, was formed in 1997 by MCs Leszek “Eldo” Kaźmierczak and Marcin "Jotuze" Józwa. Their debut release was the demo album EP in 1998, followed by their first official album EP+ in 1999. In 2000, they released "Friko / Wiatruczas" as a single and Światła Miasta, which significantly influenced the Polish hip-hop scene with its positive themes and classical music samples. The group's subsequent releases included Reaktywacja in 2004 and 3 in 2005, both maintaining their distinctive style. Their final album, Podróże, was released in 2007. Grammatik disbanded in May 2008.
