Biography

Go Sailor was a twee pop band based in San Francisco and Sacramento, United States. The group consisted of Rose Melberg on guitar and vocals, Paul Curran on bass, and Amy Linton on drums. Their music career began with the release of their first EP Fine Day for Sailing in 1995. Go Sailor also recorded 7-inch singles "Long Distance" (1995), "Don't Go" (1996) and an album titled Go Sailor on Lookout! Records in 1996, which compiled the singles tracks and two compilation appearances. After their breakup, their songs "Ray of Sunshine" and "Together Forever in Love" were included on the soundtrack to the movie But I'm a Cheerleader. They reformed in 2010 and 2024.
