Biography

All Girl Summer Fun Band, an American twee-pop band from Portland, was formed in 1998 by Kim Baxter, Kathy Foster, Jen Sbragia, and Ari Douangpanya. The group originated when Baxter met Sbragia after a Softies show and later invited the other members to form an "all girl summer fun band." Their initial releases included an EP titled Summer of '98 in 2003 and several singles. They signed with K Records, which released their debut album All Girl Summer Fun Band in 2002 and follow-up 2 in 2003. Douangpanya left the band in 2005, and the remaining members continued as a three-piece, releasing their third full-length album Looking Into It on September 23, 2008.
