The Aislers Set is an American indie pop band formed in the United States in 1997. Their founding members included AV Linton, Wyatt Cusick, Alicia Vanden Heuvel, Yoshi Nakamoto, and Jen Cohen. Their debut album, Terrible Things Happen (1998), was followed by The Last Match (2000), which received praise from publications such as Spin. In 2001, the band recorded a session for the British DJ John Peel. Their third album, How I Learned to Write Backwards, was released in 2003. The group toured with acts including Sleater-Kinney, Bratmobile, and Belle and Sebastian. The band released the song âCold Christmasâ (2010) and performed reunion shows in 2014.
