Biography

Thin White Rope, an American rock band, was formed in Davis, California between 1981 and 1982, and was led by Guy Kyser. The band emerged from the Les Z Boys, adding Roger Kunkel on guitar. Their debut album Exploring the Axis was released in 1985 on Frontier Records. Subsequent releases Moonhead (1987), In the Spanish Cave (1988), Sack Full of Silver (1990), and The Ruby Sea (1991) expanded their catalog, while the live LP The One That Got Away (1993) captured their final 1992 performance in Ghent. The group dissolved in 1992.
