Matthew Thomas Masurka, known professionally as Gigamesh, and born on May 12, 1983, is a Minneapolis-based American music producer and DJ who began his career through collaborations with Discotech and Señor Stereo alongside DJs Danny Daze and Joe Maz. Gigamesh's breakthrough came with the production of Mike Posner's track "Cooler than Me" and his remix of Foster the People's single "Pumped Up Kicks", which garnered over 172 million plays on a video streaming platform. His solo releases include a series of singles and EPs on OurLabel International such as Gigamesh EP (2011) and The Remixes (2012) and an EP on Kitsuné, titled All My Life (2012). In spring 2013, he released the single "Enjoy" on Nurvous Records. Gigamesh has toured internationally, performing in Asia, Australia, Europe, and across North America. His notable remixes include works for artists such as Rihanna, Donna Summer, and Fleetwood Mac.
