Biography

Ghost Hounds are a band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania formed by guitarist and songwriter Thomas Tull. Tull rose to prominence within the entertainment industry as the founder of the successful film production company Legendary Entertainment. Tull's company produced a number of blockbuster films including 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012) and 'Jurassic World' (2015). After selling his share of the company Tull decided to return to music and in 2010 formed what was to be the second incarnation of Ghost Hounds. Tull had previously started the band in 2000 but due to the success of the production company he sidelined his musical career to concentrate on film. After deciding to relaunch his musical ambitions he went into the studio with Kevin Bowe (ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd) and David Grisson (ex-John Mellancamp and Allman Brothers) and the three musicians co-wrote a selection of tracks. Having created the material for what was to become the band's 2019 debut album 'Roses Are Black', Tull assembled a new band to promote the album with a tour which saw the band opening for The Rolling Stones and ZZ Top.
