Biography
Fallujah, an American technical death metal band from San Francisco, California, was formed in 2007 by high school friends Alex Hofmann, Scott Carstairs, Tommy Logan, Dan Wissinger, and Suliman Arghandiwal. The band's name is derived from the Iraqi city of Fallujah. In 2011, they released their debut album The Harvest Wombs under Unique Leader Records, followed by the EP Nomadic in 2013. Their second full-length album, The Flesh Prevails, was released in 2014 and received significant acclaim. In 2015, they signed with Nuclear Blast and released their third album, Dreamless, the following year. The band underwent several lineup changes, including the departure of Alex Hofmann in 2017 and the addition of Anthony Palermo as lead vocalist in 2019. Their fourth studio album, Undying Light, was released in 2019. In 2025, Fallujah released their sixth studio album, Xenotaph.
