Epsilon Minus, a Canadian electronic music group, formed in 2000. The band was founded by Bogart Shwadchuck and Jennifer Parkin. Their name was derived from Aldous Huxley's novel Brave New World. Their debut album, Epsilon Minus (2002), featuring Parkin on vocals, was released via the Belgian label Alfa Matrix. In April 2003, they released the dance-oriented album Mark II. During this period, Parkin left to form Ayria and released her solo album Debris under Alfa Matrix. Shwadchuck continued Epsilon Minus as a solo project, releasing the EP Pre-Initialized (2004) and the album Reinitialized (2004), which showcased influences from psychedelic trance and IDM. Reinitialized featured collaborations with artists such as Kristy Venrick, Martha M. Arce, Eric Oehler, and Ned Kirby. Shwadchuck concluded the initial project in 2005 with the release of the short EP R.I.P., which compiled leftover tracks and outtakes. The project later released 20 EP in 2022.
