Biography
Eisenfunk, a German electronic music band, was founded in 2006 by Michael Mayer initially as a solo project. The group released their debut album, Eisenfunk, in 2007 through Biohazzard Records, followed by their EP 300, which reached the top 10 on the German Alternative Charts (DAC) in 2008. Eisenfunk's third album, 8-Bit, was released in 2010 and received mixed reviews, followed by the fourth album, Pentafunk, in 2011, which was released to mark the band's fifth anniversary. After eight years of activity, Eisenfunk announced their disbandment in 2014 and held their last official concert on May 17, 2014. On July 6, 2024, the band announced their return, releasing Superheroes later that year.
