Angelspit, an Australian electronic music band originally from Sydney and later based in Los Angeles, was formed in 2004 by vocalists/synthesists Destroyx (Amelia Tan) and ZooG (Karl Learmont). The duo met on an online zine forum and shared an interest in zines, which became the lyrical inspiration for their releases. Angelspit self-released their debut EP Nurse Grenade in 2004, followed by their first studio album Krankhaus in 2006. The band toured extensively across Australia, the US, and Europe, and released subsequent albums, including Hideous and Perfect (2009) and The Product (2014). Notable collaborations include tours with KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, and Front Line Assembly. In 2016, Angelspit released Cult of Fake, marking a significant shift as Destroyx took time off to focus on her solo career under the name Amelia Arsenic. The band continued with ZooG Von Rock lead, released Black Dog Bite in 2017, and has maintained their label, Black Pill Red Pill.
