Biography
Dixie Witch is an American stoner rock trio from Texas, formed in 1999 by guitarist Clayton Mills, drummer and vocalist Trinidad Leal, and bassist and vocalist Curt Christensen. They released their self-produced album Into the Sun on Brainticket Records in 2001. In 2003, they signed with Small Stone Records and released One Bird, Two Stones. They released Smoke and Mirrors in 2006. They performed at festivals like Emissions from the Monolith and Roadburn Festival in 2008, and appeared at the South by Southwest Music Conference since 2001. Their music was featured on soundtracks for video games NHL 2005 and Major League Baseball 2K7, as well as TV shows like Viva La Bam and The Mentalist. In 2009, Mills left and was replaced by J.T. Smith.
