Biography

Fireball Ministry is an American stoner metal band from Los Angeles, California, that formed in 1999. The group was founded in Cincinnati by James A. Rota II and Emily Burton before they relocated to New York and eventually Los Angeles. They appeared at the November Dismember festival in 2000. Their debut studio album, Où est la Rock?, was released in 1999, followed by the EP FMEP in 2001. The ensemble achieved wider recognition with their second album, The Second Great Awakening in 2003, which featured the tracks “King” and “Flatline” in the documentary Billabong Odyssey. Their track “The Broken” (2005) appeared in the video game WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006. Subsequent recordings include the albums Their Rock Is Not Our Rock (2005), Fireball Ministry (2010), and Remember the Story (2017). Several of their tracks, including “Kick Back” (2010), were featured in the television series Sons of Anarchy.
