Biography

Trin-i-tee 5:7 was an American gospel trio from New Orleans, Louisiana. Formed in 1997 by Chanelle Haynes, Angel Taylor, and Terri Brown, they signed with GospoCentric Records that same year. Their debut album Trin-i-tee 5:7 (1998) reached Number 1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart and was certified gold by the RIAA, featuring the single "God's Grace". After Terri Brown left in 1999, Adrian Anderson joined the group. Subsequent releases include Spiritual Love in 1999 and T57 in 2007, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album. Following Anderson's departure in 2010, Trin-i-tee 5:7 continued as a duo and released Angel & Chanelle in 2011. The group sold over 2.5 million records worldwide and was recognized by Billboard as the 10th Top Gospel Artist of the Year in both 2002 and 2011.
