Corrupt Souls were an American electronic music ensemble from Washington, D.C., active between 2004 and 2007. The group was founded by Marcio Alvarado, known as Telemetrik, and Josh Clark, known as Impulse. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style incorporating drum and bass and recorded for labels including Ohm Resistance, Renade Hardware, Moving Shadow, and Black Sun Empire Records. The ensemble is connected to the artist Submerged. They contributed to the project Method of Defiance - Inamorata (2007) by Bill Laswell and Robert Soares. Alvarado later achieved professional recognition as a solo artist under the name Alvin Risk.
