Biography

Comisario Pantera, formed in 2005 in Milpa Alta, Mexico, emerged from a collaboration between vocalist‑guitarist Darío Vital and bassist‑vocalist Iván Vidauri, joined by drummer Raúl Hernández and guitarist Roger Dávila. Their first breakthrough came with the 2010 EP Como la vez primera, followed by the 2013 EP Éramos adolescentes, which established their presence in the Mexican rock scene. The group released the studio album Jóvenes Ilustres in 2012, featuring the single "Amiga"; the track later received gold certification from AMPROFON. In 2014 they launched Club Rodante, with the single "The Wolf" gaining significant airplay. The 2017 album Cosmovisiones earned a nomination for a Latin Grammy in the best pop/rock album category. Their fourth studio effort, Instinto Felino, arrived in 2022, continuing the band’s exploration of rock en español while maintaining chart presence in Mexico.
