Christopher Jon Thorpe-Tracey, known professionally as Chris T-T, and born on September 16, 1974, in Winchester, England, is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and writer. He started his musical career performing in school bands and later studied Popular Music Studies at Bretton Hall College. In 1999, Chris T-T released his debut album Beatverse under his own label Wine Cellar Records. He then signed with Snowstorm Records and released critically acclaimed albums such as The 253 (2001) and London is Sinking (2003), both of which were featured in the Sunday Times Top 5 Albums Of The Year for their respective years. In 2007, ChrisT-T signed with Xtra Mile Recordings and released Capital (2008). He continued to release albums including Love is Not Rescue in 2010 and 9 Green Songs in 2016. T-T announced his retirement from music in 2017, concluding his career with a farewell tour and the release of Best of Chris T-T, a double-album retrospective marking his 20th anniversary.
