Biography
Cast, a Mexican progressive rock band, was founded in Mexicali, Baja California, in 1978. Their first single, "The Complot", was released in 1979. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Cast underwent several lineup changes but continued to release albums such as Landing In a Serious Mind (1994) and Sounds of Imagination (1994). They gained international recognition through performances at festivals in countries like France, Finland, Italy, Spain, England, Argentina, and the United States. Notable subsequent releases include Imaginary Window (1999), Al-Bandaluz (2003), and their 20th studio album, Vigesimus (2021).
