Biography
Bob van der Palen, known professionally as B-Front, is a Dutch hardstyle producer and DJ born on January 25, 1988, in Veldhoven. After starting production at age ten, he released the debut track âMotherfucking Psychoâ in 2005. Van der Palen recorded the track âLunatickâ in 2006 and performed at the Defqon.1 festival in 2008. In 2009, he appeared at X-Qlusive Holland. In 2015, Van der Palen co-founded the Roughstate label and subsequently headlined his own X-Qlusive event in 2016. His discography featured the solo album Beyond Reality (2017), followed by the collaborative albums Eclipse (2018), Other Planets (2023), and The Enlightenment (2024). He established the musical acts 2-Sidez, B-Freqz, and B-Frontliner. His recording career included the singles âDark Moonâ (2016) and âLostâ (2016). Van der Palen cited DJ Zany and Michel Pollen as primary musical influences.
