Biography

AyÅedeniz GÃ¶kÃ§in (anglicised as AyseDeniz Gokcin) was born on January 4, 1988, and is a Turkish classical pianist and composer. She graduated from Eastman School of Music in 2009 and completed her master's at the Royal Academy of Music in 2011. Her breakthrough came in 2013 with Pink Floyd Classical Concept, an album featuring solo piano arrangements of Pink Floyd's music styled after Franz Liszt, including "Hey You", "Wish You Were Here", and "Another Brick in the Wall". In 2015, she released The Nirvana Project, a collaboration with Bulgarian music producer Ivan Shopov. GÃ¶kÃ§in performed her compositions, Kelton and Chaos, at Walt Disney Concert Hall, with the former winning the 2023 Hollywood Independent Music Award in the Contemporary Classical category.
