Aspects is an English hip hop ensemble from Bristol established in 1996. The group consists of the musicians Ian Merchant, Alexander Parsons, and Benjamin Weaver. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by hip hop and being part of the collective FSH. Their recording career began with the extended play 2012 EP (1998) and the extended play Revenge of the Nerds (1999). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Correct English (2001) and the song âMy Genreâ (2001) being named Single of the Week by the magazine NME. Their discography included the song âCorrect English / We Get Fowlâ (2001) with the ensemble Task Force and the studio recording Mystery Theatre? (2004). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the song âOff the Lipâ (2004), which reached number 16 on the UK Indie Chart and number 81 in the United Kingdom. They achieved professional recognition for performing as an opening act for the ensemble De La Soul and the ensemble Arrested Development. Their recording career included the studio recording Left Hand Path (2013) and collaborating with the musicians DJ Vadim and the Bees.
