Andy Roda, born March 11 in Denmark, is a Danish-Filipino recording artist and singer-songwriter who began his musical journey with the Danish Boys Choir. After graduating from Sankt Annæ Gymnasium, he released his debut album Dish on Virgin Records in 1999. Andy moved to New York City, where he competed in the show Next Big Star on Pax TV and performed at venues like Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar. In 2007, Roda released the single "Shake Yo Thang" and founded POGI Entertainment. He also contributed to the Supahdance Album with songs like "Real Man". In 2014, Andy Roda served as a backing singer for Basim at the Eurovision Song Contest. His own entry "Love Is Love" was part of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in 2015. He also performed on stage with Safri Duo and contributed to various notable musicals including Moulin Rouge! The Musical and Miss Saigon.
