Rebeca Pous Del Toro, known mononymously as Rebeca, was born on November 1, 1974, in Barcelona, Spain. She began her music career in 1995 with the singles "Más que un engaño" and "Corazón corazón," which earned gold certifications. Her debut album Rebeca was released in 1996, featuring hits like "Duro de pelar." The album became a double platinum success in Spain. In 1997, she released her second album Rebelde, including the singles "Todos los Chicos Son Igual" and "Dime Qi Me Quieres." Rebeca also contributed to the Spanish soundtrack of the musical Grease with songs like "Noches de Verano." Her subsequent albums include Brava (1999) and Supernatural (2003). She has attempted to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest multiple times, notably with the song "Que No DarÃa Yo" in 2006.
