Belgian musician Danzel, born Johan Waem on 9 November 1976 in Beveren, Belgium, is known for his contributions to dance music. His career began with the release of "You Are All Of That" in late 2003, which, despite its modest chart performance, set the stage for future successes. Danzel's breakthrough came with the single "Pump It Up!" released in October 2004. The track reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and marked a significant milestone in his career. Following this success, Danzel released several albums, including The Name Of The Jam (2004) and Unlocked (2008). Notable songs from these albums include "Put Your Hands Up In The Air!" which peaked at number six on the UK Dance Charts in May 2005. In 2008, he appeared as a special guest performer in the Polish national selection (Piosenka dla Europy), where he performed âUndercoverâ during the show. Throughout his career, Danzel has released a variety of EPs and singles, including "My Arms Keep Missing You" (2006) and "What Is Life" (2008). 2023 saw the release of new single "The Best Last Night".
