Biography

Gustaph, real name Stef Caers, is a Belgian singer, songwriter, producer and vocal coach, born on July 5, 1980 in Leuven, Belgium. He began his musical career under the pseudonym Steffen. In 2000, while studying at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, he released his first single, "Gonna Lose You", which reached number 22ᵉ in the Flemish charts. He followed this up with "Sweetest Thing", released the same year. Thereafter, he devoted more time to writing and producing music, while working as a backing vocalist for artists such as Lady Linn and Willy Sommers. Back at the microphone in 2010, he collaborated with Hercules and Love Affair on several projects, and took part in the Eurovision Song Contest three times: as a backing singer in 2018 when he accompanied Sennek on "A Matter of Time", then in 2021 with Hooverphonic for "The Wrong Place", before presenting himself in 2023 with "Because of You", ranked 7th. In 2025, his new single "Really Mine" reaches No. 45 in Belgium.
