Biography
Mr. President is a German Eurodance music group from Bremen, originally consisting of the two dancers and singers T-Seven (Judith Buthmann) and Lady Danii (Daniela Haak) as well as the rapper Sir Prophet (George Jones). The group was founded in 1991, and three years later they reached number 12 in the German charts with their song "Up'n Away". in 1995, Mr. President landed further Top 40 successes in Germany with the singles "I'll Follow the Sun", "4 On the Floor" and "Gonna Get Along (Without Ya Now)". In the summer of 1996, the group even remained in second place in the German charts for several weeks with "Coco Jamboo", and the song reached first place in other countries. Their worldwide breakthrough came in 1996 with the album We See the Same Sun, before the album Space Gate reached fifth place in the German album charts in 1999. After the line-up of Mr. President changed considerably in the early 2000s, the fifth studio album Forever and One Day was no longer able to place in the charts in 2003.
