Alan Kuo (real name Alan Ke), born 22â¯Januaryâ¯1981 in Taipei, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese male singer and actor who began his career as a guitarist with limited songwriting experience before joining Alpha Music in 1999. After a period of mentorship from Jayâ¯Chou and extensive selfâwritten work across R&B, rock, rap, and pop, Kuo released his debut album Alan Kuo on 19â¯Augustâ¯2005, which entered the Taiwanese charts at Number Two and received support from Jackyâ¯Cheung. In 2007 he followed with albums Welcome To My World in 2007, the latter peaking at Number Four in Taiwan; the same year he appeared in the film Sweet Relationship. Kuoâs fourth studio effort, One Day, came in Marchâ¯2009 under Sonyâ¯Music, and he continued to release singles such as "å¹¾è¬è±åçæµ·" in Octoberâ¯2021. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists like Yidaâ¯Huang on "Celebrate the Day" and Alienâ¯Huang on "Carry On", and he has maintained a presence in both music and film, including roles in The Rooftop (2013) and Red Line (2023). Kuoâs work has consistently charted in Taiwan, and his releases have contributed to the contemporary Taiwanese pop landscape, marking him as a notable figure in the industry.
