Pc Quest was a pop music group from Oklahoma, formed in 1990. The quartet consisted of Chad Petree, Stephen Petree, Drew Nichols, and Kim Whipkey. They were managed by George Tobin, known for managing Tiffany, and Tim James, part of the duo Rock Mafia. Initially signed to Geffen Records, their debut single "After The Summer's Gone" was released in fall 1990 through both Geffen and Giant Records but failed to chart. In 1991, after signing with Tobin's Headlinerecords and RCA Records, they achieved a minor hit with "Can I Call You My Girl?", which reached Number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100, followed by a reissue of "After The Summer's Gone", which narrowly missed the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album pc Quest was released in 1991, featuring notable tracks such as "Can't You See". A follow-up album, Directions, was released in 1992 but did not yield any significant hits. The group disbanded shortly thereafter. Chad Petree later found success as a leader of the indie rock band Shiny Toy Guns, with his brother Stephen credited as a writer on several of their songs.
