Biography
Agonoize, a German aggrotech band, was formed in 2002 by Mike Johnson and Oliver Senger. The duo met their singer Chris L. in a Berlin club where he also performed as a live keyboardist for Dance or Die. Agonoize's music, characterized by fast technoid rhythms and distorted electronic vocals, often explored themes of societal resistance and provocation. In 2003, the band released the EP Paranoid Destruction. Their first album, Assimilation: Chapter One, was released in 2004. The band gained traction with subsequent releases such as 999 (2005) and Sieben (2007), which featured the track "Koprolalie" that became popular in scene clubs. The band continued to release albums including Hexakosioihexekontahexa (2009), Apokalypse (2014) and Midget Vampire Porn (2019).
