Biography

Admiral Fallow, a Scottish musical group formed in 2007 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Louis Abbott and based in Glasgow, initially performed under the name Brother Louis Collective. Their debut album, Boots Met My Face, was released worldwide in 2011 after being recorded at Chem 19 studio in Glasgow. The album featured the single "Squealing Pigs", which was used on NBC's Chuck and performed live on BBC's Hogmanay Live 2011. Boots Met My Face received critical acclaim, including praise from the Daily Record and being named Best Album of 2010 by Scottish music website The Pop Cop. Admiral Fallow followed up with Tree Bursts in Snow in 2012 and Tiny Rewards in 2015. The band has supported notable artists such as Guillemots, King Creosote, Paolo Nutini, and Belle and Sebastian, and performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, and Green Man. Further on, they recorded studio albums The Idea of You (2021), and First of the Birds (2025).
