Dove Ellis, born 2002 in Galway, Ireland, emerged as a singer-songwriter in the indie rock scene. Dove Ellis released the debut single "To the Sandals" on 10 September 2025, earning a spot on Pasteâs âBest New Songs of the Week.â The following month, Dove Ellis announced the debut studio album Blizzard, which launched on 5 December 2025, accompanied by the singles "Love Is" and "Pale Song"; "Love Is" also received Pasteâs accolade. Blizzard was praised by The Economist, ranking in the publicationâs top ten albums of 2025. Dove Ellis supported Geese on the Getting Killed Tour and performed a session for Other Voices in St Jamesâ Church in November 2025.
