2 Eivissa, a Eurodance project founded in Germany in 1997 by Ambrogio Crotti and Luigi Ricco of Team 33, emerged as an act in the electronic music scene. The group featured various female vocalists, including Terri Bjerre and Melanie Molinnus on their debut album Oh La La La (1998). Their breakthrough came with the release of "Oh La La La" in 1997, which reached number 20 in the United Kingdom and number 50 in Germany. The single marked the beginning of a successful period for 2 Eivissa, culminating in hits like "I Wanna Be Your Toy" in 1999. The group's discography includes notable albums such as Are You Ready? (2003) and several maxi singles including "Open Your Eyes", "Move Your Body (Tu Tu Tu Tu Ta, Oh La)", and "Shattered Dreams". In 2005, the project was discontinued. However, samples from their hit "Oh La La La" were used in David Tavaré's track "Hot Summer Night" in 2007, which saw a remix in 2009.
