Biography

Zorica Kondža, born on June 25, 1960, in Split is a Croatian singer known for her soprano vocal range. She began her music career providing backing vocals for notable singers from Split. In the early 1980s, Kondža gained prominence as the lead vocalist for the pop-rock group Stijene, with whom she recorded four albums: Cementna prašina (1981), Jedanaest i petnaest (1982), Balkanska korida (1983), and Zlatna kolekcija (1984). Her breakthrough came in 1982 when Stijene won the Split Festival with "Ima jedan svijet". Kondža embarked on a solo career in 1984, achieving success with albums like Hodajmo po zvijezdama (2001). She has participated in numerous festivals, including the Split Festival, where she won seven times. Notable collaborations include duets with Oliver Dragojević and Tony Cetinski.
