Biography

Zilqy is a Japanese all-female metal band formed in 2025 by vocalist Anna, guitarist Toki (ex-Aldious), bassist Miho (ex-LOVEBITES), and drummer Kano. Conceived as a “Japan-born global all-female metal band,” their name fuses “zilch” and “queen” to suggest a queen who belongs to no one and everyone. Blending heavy, groove-oriented “post-melodic nu metal” with Japanese-style melodies and bilingual vocals, Zilqy introduced their sound with the debut EP Vacant Throne, released on November 5, 2025.
