Biography

NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST is a Japanese five-member visual kei band formed in 2009, known for blending deathcore and metalcore with striking visual aesthetics. The group began as a deathcore act but shifted toward the visual kei scene after lineup changes in 2011, notably the addition of drummer Natsu. They debuted with the mini-album Ivy in 2012 and quickly gained momentum through energetic live shows and a series of singles, including the standout track "Strike in fact" in 2014. That year, they released three consecutive singles that all ranked in the Oricon Indie Top 10. Their 2014 album THE OMNIGOD expanded their sound and fanbase, followed by major tours and international gigs, including performances in China. After a best-of album in 2017, guitarists Cazqui and Daichi departed in 2018. The band reformed in 2019 with new members and released the mini-album UNLEASH, but faced another member exit shortly after. Despite these changes, they continued to release music throughout 2020, including singles "ONLY HUMAN" and "Reviver", and returned with a fresh lineup and the mini-album The Wasteland. The members are Hiro, Masa, Natsu, Yu-taro and Valtz.
