LADYBABY is a Japanese idol group.The group debuted on March 25, 2015 with Rie Kaneko, Rei Kuromiya, and Lady Beard. The group was characterized by "Kawaii-Death," a musical genre that utilized female vocals and death voices; the group went on a temporary hiatus on April 15, 2016; on August 1, 2016, Lady Beard left the group and it became a unit of Rie Kaneko and Rei Kuromiya. At the same time, the group's name was changed to The Idol Formerly Known As LADYBABY.In September 2017, they released "Pinky! Pinky! The same year, on November 17, 2017, Rei Kuromiya left the group; in 2018, the group name was changed back to LADYBABY and began activities as a four-member group consisting of Rie Kaneko, Nana Ikeda, Emiri Arima, and Fuka Karasawa, but the group was suspended on January 13, 2020. Currently, the group consists of REM Serizawa, Mia Kamihari, Sena Kurosaki, and Ei Tsukimachi.
