Biography
HAGANE is a Japanese female heavy metal band formed around the central figure, Sakura. The band was initially composed of Sakura, Chiemi, Mayto, and Kanako, following a recruitment on the platform OURSOUNDS in June 2018. After various lineup changes, including the welcoming of Sayaka as the bassist in January 2019 and Chiemi's departure in March of the same year, the band saw a significant shift in 2023. Uyu, Mayto, and Kanako left the band in February 2023 due to creative differences, with their final performance in May at Shinjuku RaNY. Despite these challenges, Sakura and Sayaka continued the band, moving to the Euclid Agency and opening auditions for new members. By April 2024, HAGANE introduced new members Nagi (vocals) and JUNNA (drums). They released a digital EP titled "Life Goes On!" in May 2024 and successfully relaunched with a sold-out live show in Shibuya ReX in June. Their notable albums are Episodeà (2020) and Code ; 9021 (2022).
