Yaggfu Front is an American hip-hop group from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, formed in 1991. The group's name is an acronym standing for "You Are Gonna Get Fucked Up" (if you) Front. Emerging from their work as late-night DJs at the North Carolina State University radio station WKNC, the membersâconsisting of Spin 4th, D'Ranged & Damaged, and Jingle Belâsecured a record deal with Mercury Records. Yaggfu Front released the debut single "Lookin' For A Contract" in early 1993. In 1994, the group issued the concept album Action Packed Adventure!, which incorporated jazz influences. The album received a 3.5-mic rating out of 5 from The Source in February 1994, but due to minimal promotion and low sales, Yaggfu Front requested a release from its contract with PolyGram Records. After a hiatus during which members worked with the Demigodz, the group re-emerged in 2002 with the compilation album The Secret Tapes (2002), which includes material recorded from 1992 to 1995.
