Wohnout, a Czech alternative rock band formed in Prague in 1988, comprised guitarists/vocalists MatÄj Homola and Jan Homola, bassist JiÅà Zeman, and drummer ZdenÄk Steiner. The group initially disbanded in 1990 but reformed in 1995 with new members. Their debut album Cundalla was released by Sony Music/Bonton in 1999. Wohnout's popularity surged after the release of Zlý Noty Na VeÄeÅi in 2001, which showcased their melodic rock style. Subsequent albums included Pedro Se Vracà (2002), Rande S Panem Bendou (2004), and Polib Si DÄdu (2006). The band went on several tours across the Czech Republic and Europe, performing at various music festivals. In 2009, they released Karton Veverek, followed by NaÅ¡im Klientům in 2011, with the hit "Svaz Ceskych Bohemu", ranked number 11 in Czech Songs chart. Wohnout continued to release albums, including Laskonky a Kremrole (2014), Miss Maringotka (2018), and HUH! (2021).
