Biography
The Bones is a Swedish punk rock group from Karlskrona, formed in 1996. The band's initial line-up consisted of drummer Spooky Fred, bassist Andi Nero, and vocalist and guitarist Beef Bonanza, who met during jam sessions in 1993, and were joined by guitarist and vocalist Marcus "Boner" Petersson in 1996. Their first EP, The Horrorway, was self-released in 1997 and sold out quickly, leading to a signing with I Used to Fuck People Like You In Prison Records in 1999. The group followed with the EP Six Feet Down, Two Fingers Up in 1999 and their debut studio album, Screwed, Blued and Tattooed, in 2000. Their subsequent studio albums include Bigger than Jesus (2002), Straight Flush Ghetto (2004), and Burnout Boulevard (2007). In 2006, they appeared on the compilation EP Partners in Crime Vol. 1, which featured a cover of the song âHome Sweet Hellâ. Their later releases include the live album Berlin Burnout (2010), and the studio albums Monkeys with Guns (2012) and Flash the Leather (2015).
