Biography

Welle: Erdball is a German electronic music group formed in 1990 in Stadthagen by Alf Behnsen and Hannes Malecki. Initially known as Honigmond and later Feindsender 64.3, the duo adopted the name Welle: Erdball in 1993, inspired by a German radio play from 1928. The band gained European recognition with Der Sinn des Lebens (1998) and achieved significant success with Die Wunderwelt der Technik (2002), reaching Number 1 on the Alternative Charts. Notable albums included Chaos Total (2006), which entered the Media Control Charts at number 77, and Der Kalte Krieg (2011).
